Proverbs is not inspiration. It is instruction.
It teaches how to choose words, people, paths, money, timing, restraint, courage, and silence.
Wisdom is not emotional. Wisdom is protective.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge Proverbs 1:7
This room is designed to be read slowly. One chapter at a time.
Proverbs is primarily attributed to King Solomon, a king who asked God for wisdom to govern people well 1 Kings 3.
This matters because Proverbs trains leadership, restraint, speech, money, justice, and discernment.
Frame
Proverbs 15 trains speech discipline how words shape outcomes long before actions do.
This chapter teaches that wisdom often sounds gentle, not dominant.
Words are not neutral. They either create safety or provoke destruction.
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.15:1
The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.15:2
The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good. 15:3
A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.15:4
A gentle answer does not mean weak truth.
It means truth delivered with restraint.
God weighs not only words, but motives behind them.
The wise person does not rush to speak.
They observe, listen, and respond intentionally.
Fools speak to release pressure.
The wise speak to bring life.
In Abide rooms, negotiations, families, leadership, and conflict
tone determines outcome.
Wisdom knows timing is as important as content.
Unrestrained speech fractures trust.
Many relationships are not destroyed by betrayal,
but by repeated careless words.
